Martin Kunz will comment on his documentary “William Wegman at Work” made for The New York Kunsthalle in the early 1990s and presented for the first time in Europe at the K10.
The first part (1992) of the documentary is entitled “Faybridge” and shows Wegman during the filming of a television production for the children’s channel Nickelodeon, the second part (1993) entitled “Roofless” documents the creative process and Wegman’s work with the Polaroid 360 pack camera and his dogs in the spaces of New York’s Kunsthalle.
Martin Kunz will also present the “Roofless” photographic portfolio consisting of six original limited edition prints donated by the artist Wegman to charity at the Kunsthalle.
The events will be held at the K10-Kunzarchive space, via Lavizzari 10 in Lugano.

Moreover, we will be presenting Wegman`s PORTFOLIO that he created with a selection of the b/w photos he shot during the film session and that became a collectors item. Martin Kunz commenterà il suo documentario “William Wegman at Work” realizzato per The New York Kunsthalle nei primi anni ’90 e presentato per la prima volta in Europa al K10 in due schermi dell’epoca.
La prima parte del documentario dal titolo “Faybridge” del 1992 mostra Wegman durante le riprese di una produzione televisiva per il canale per bambini Nickelodeon, la seconda parte (1993) dal titolo “Roofless” documenta il processo creativo e il lavoro di Wegman con la Polaroid 360 pack camera e i suoi cani negli spazi della Kunsthalle a New York.
Martin Kunz presenterà inoltre anche il portfolio fotografico di “Roofless” composto da sei stampe originali in edizione limitata, donate dall’artista Wegman in beneficenza alla Kunsthalle.
